DAY 8, LONDON: LAST OF WINDSOR, THEN LONDON

Last Photo. Howard with the Fire warden memorial statue.

Christine Fierro in front of the memorial to the WWII Fire Wardens, who rescued people & put out fires in London during the Blitz.

This sign is for the place where we ate dinner. They might be famous, but probably nor famous for being good. Oh, with Christine Fierro

The pretty flowers at the end of the Queen's Moat garden.

DAY 8, LONDON: finishing up Windsor & heading for London.

The other middle part of the moat garden.

This is part of Queen Elizabeth's Moat garden, contained in the Bailey around the Round Tower.

Here are Clair & Joelle waiting for the group. Right place, wrong time.

See, yet another great picture of me! We had a good time at Windsor Castle. We toured St. George's Chapel (sorry, no photos allowed), as well as the state rooms of the castle (again, no photos allowed), saw lots of armor and weapons, but no Queen, evenm though she was at home.

DAY 8, LONDON: finishing up & heading for Windsor.

See, I had to get a picture of me in there!

Christine Fierro posed for me, how nice!

Clair poses in front of the queen!

The statue of Queen Victoria is sort of in the middle of town, in front of Windsor Castle. It is our usual meeting place after free time. You can see the castle in the background. Here, our trynamic trio are posing in front of it, just before we went to lunch!

LONDON: In front of Buckingham Palace

We got a good phioto of Rebecca in front of Buckingham Palace. Of course, we were still standing pretty far away.

Cora & Thomas sure look good standing in front of the Queen's house. of course, she has several!

I tried to get photos of everybody, but this one of Maggie worked out very well.

We took a lot of photos of the same places, with different people in front of them. This whole post is of our folks with Buckingham Palace in the background. We did not try to get closer to see the changing of the guards. It was too crowded, and some of us got to the fence the night before. Here are Crystal & Peter.

MORE LONDON ON TOUR!

Melissa was also watching the guards march by. We were unable to get closeer to Buckingham Palace, due to the crowds.

Clair was watching the guards marching to change when I got this photio.

This was our London Guide, who also took us as far as Windsor. We are all listening intently.

Heather Rose poses near a guard at Claridge House, where Prince Charles & Family live. She could not get any closer to the guard this time.

DAY 8: LONDON!!!Bus tour then Windsor Tour

Another group of our kids are also seen at the cathedral. Hi Girls & Jackson & Ms. Newhart & Heather Rose!

Jennifer & Ashley pose in front o0f the side door of the Cathedral.

Oner of the first things on our bus tour of London was Westminster Cathedral. Here is Christine Fierro in front of the side door.
